OWIT-Toronto is in the enviable position of having a strong and committed volunteer board, working to provide our members with networking, education and training and a community of alliances that support them locally as they grow their businesses internationally.

We’ve been an extremely busy chapter since our inception in 2000, offering innovative programs, educational development for our members, and developing successful strategic alliances with both the public and private sector.  During the past year we have continued to build on our strong foundation:

2009 Highlights

• Successful launch of the annual mentorship café
• Hosted the OWIT International Spring Board meeting, welcoming delegates from our fellow chapters around the world
• Our sixth annual Awards gala, which recognizes the contribution of an outstanding woman exporter, an export champion and a student of international trade
• Winning the 2009 OWIT Chapter of the Year
• Mentoring the start up of OWIT-Ottawa

Throughout 2010 the OWIT Executive will be working to build upon these outstanding achievements, with a focus on improving member benefits and networking opportunities.  We invite you to get involved with our chapter.  There are many opportunities to join committees, contribute to the growth of our chapter and/or the international organization, and to experience personal growth and development, while widening your network of contacts.
