Susan is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels Brock, a Toronto based law firm. Her practice involves a broad range of corporate finance and corporate/commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate reorganizations and international transactions. Susan also has expertise with secured lending transactions.

Prior to joining Cassels Brock, Susan practised at a law firm in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. During this time, she was involved in sophisticated and complex acquisitions, divestitures and financings, primarily in the cable television/telecommunications industry, throughout the Caribbean.

Susan is the 2005 recipient of the Hunt Award for highest overall marks in the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar Admission Exams. She also received the Starr House Award for her leadership capability and extra-curricular activity which was beneficial to the University of New Brunswick Law School in 2004. That same year, Susan was the recipient of the Peer Recognition Award at the University of New Brunswick Law School.
