One of Canada's well known women entrepreneurs Myra Sable is also one of Canada's specialty food pioneers. She started her company Sable & Rosenfeld over 50 years ago and is still going strong selling specialty food products across Canada, the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean.

Sable & Rosenfeld has been on the shelves of the finest stores in the world including Fortnum & Mason in the U.K. and Fauchon in Paris.

Some of the stars of the product line, which have appeared in Vogue, Esquire and New York Magazine are Sable & Rosenfeld Vermouth Tipsy Olives, Vermouth Tipsy Onions and Whiskey Tipsy Cherries to name but a few. Bartenders consider Tipsy Olives essential for making the perfect Martini and their latest Dark Reserve Tipsy Cherries for the perfect Cosmo cocktail.

Sable has been recognized many times as a trailblazer and innovator for building a portfolio of delicious gourmet cocktail garnishes, condiments and appetizers made from simple ingredients that resonate with consumers. She is a member of the distinguished Specialty Food Association where she received their prestigious Hall of Fame award for product line, packaging, and overall show. She is a proud recipient of Canada’s Woman Exporter of the Year from OWIT (Ontario Women in International Trade).

With annual sales now in the millions, Sable & Rosenfeld has built a huge network of brokers and distributors and a worldwide network of trusted suppliers.

New product ideas are always in development to meet the exploding cocktail culture. The innovation, craft and care that go into creating and sourcing the best gourmet cocktail garnishes, condiments and appetizers is evident with every bite. Simple, natural ingredients make surprising and delightful combinations.

Myra is well-known as a champion of many organizations involved in social justice and women's rights. She was a founding board member of Casey House, a specialty hospital for people living with and at risk of HIV, Jessie's Centre, a drop-in centre dedicated to supporting pregnant and parenting individuals 21 years or under and co-founded Lunches with Leaders, a 1200-member organization made up primarily of women to meet and understand where political candidates stood on women’s issues.

What's next for Myra? ''Testing new products, expanding our European market, opening new markets in Southeast Asia, and visiting retailers with my amazing team continue to be my passions,'' she says.
