The Richmond Hill Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC) is proud to announce the first edition of the International Women's Day (IWD) Celebration Week, taking place from March 4 - March 8, 2024. This week-long series of events is specifically designed to empower and support women entrepreneurs. The theme of the IWD Celebration week is “Empowering Women through Entrepreneurship”.

Throughout the week, the SBEC has curated a series of events tailored to provide invaluable insights, practical tips, and heartfelt inspiration to fuel the  entrepreneurial journey.

• March 4: Dive into Angel Investing & Financial Modeling for practical insights into managing business finances.
• March 5: Learn the essential steps of starting a small business at our collaborative session with Richmond Hill Public Library.
• March 6: Gain inspiration from immigrant women sharing their entrepreneurial journeys, showcasing diverse paths to success.
• March 7: Enhance your social media presence with practical tips in our webinar featuring ChatGPT.
• March 7 (evening): Don't miss our Tech Community Meetup highlighting Women Entrepreneurs & Professionals in Tech!
• March 8: Conclude the week with a Fireside Chat featuring successful women entrepreneurs leveraging SBEC services.

The SBEC is honoured to have esteemed guests such as Associate Minister of Small Business, Minister Nina Tangri, Richmond Hill Mayor David West, and Richmond Hill City Manager Darlene Joslin joining us to share their insights and support.
