4th Annual JoAnna Townsend Award Ceremony & Annual BBQ

OWIT-Toronto is proud to continue a tradition started in 2004 with its presentation of the JoAnna Townsend Award at the Radisson Admiral Hotel, Toronto Harbourfront, on September 18, 2007, beginning at 5:30pm. The award recognizes an outstanding woman in Ontario who, through her business and personal networks, fosters opportunities that actively support women entrepreneurs to achieve success in international business.

This year's event will feature special guest speaker Kyle MacDonald, CEO of Phoenix Interactive Design Inc. and 2006 RBC Canadian Woman Entrepreneur Award winner for exporting. You won't want to miss her dynamic presentation - From Fledgling to Phoenix Rising: 5 Secrets to World Domination.

The first-class meal includes: a selection of hand-picked greens with a variety of dressings and vinaigrettes, red and green cabbage coleslaw with sweet chive vinaigrette, a choice of either grilled chipotle bushed chicken supreme with tomato jalapeno salsa or broiled Atlantic salmon fillet with a lime cilantro rub, grilled green and yellow zucchini with basil pesto, steamed new season mini potatoes with chive butter, a selection of cakes, sliced fresh fruit, and freshly baked cookies.

OWIT-Toronto Refund Policy: Registrants who require a refund of event fees must provide notification by email to OWIT-Toronto VP Communications, Katherine Fisher, at katherinef@owit-toronto.ca within sixty (60) days of purchase and no later than seven (7) days prior to the event. The request for refund must be received from the email address used to register. The request for refund is effective as of the date the email is sent. This Refund Policy applies to individual event fees only. All other refunds are subject to OWIT-Toronto approval on a case-by-case basis. Membership fees are non-refundable.
